So once again this year I have put something together for you which should be a useful resource to get you thinking about the concepts that are covered in this topic of e-commerce. After many requests I have finally got round to producing and releasing my AQA BUSS4 Manufacturing in the UK presentation.
This has been designed to be a useful introduction to the research topic and should be used alongside your own research. It should be a useful tool for a starting point to think about the synoptic links that can be made and some of the issues linked to the research theme of manufacturing in the UK.

Please do bear in mind that this year I am not teaching this unit at our centre, so this has been produced in my limited spare time, to cater for the many requests that I had.
If you find answering exam questions difficult and you don't really understand some of the other evaluation techniques that you may have covered, then the BEE Structure could be for you.
It has been designed to be a simple approach that you can use when tackling evaluative questions. It will work at all levels and subjects, however here the focus is the most important subject of Business!
Firstly in any question define the key terms and show your business knowledge.
Then use some evidence to explain the points that you are making, ensuring that you answering the question that is set.
Finally, ensure that you are evaluating the points that you are making. You need to show both sides to any point you are making and ensure that you provide a conclusion at the end of your answer.
There is one topic that I get asked quite a few questions about from students everywhere. Yes this site may focus on Business Studies however most of the concepts and information in this video guide can be applied to any subject that you are sitting, regardless of it is a BTEC, GCSE, AS Level or A2 Level exam.
This short video has been filmed to share some ideas on how to ensure that you maximise your potential in your exams. This had been produced alongside Mr Hardman who is also sharing his thoughts and tips and tricks when it comes to that period which many students fear. We also look at the topic of mock exams and explain why we feel they are important and add value to your learning process.
This video isn't going to do the exam for you and guarantee success, however it should help to ensure you start to feel better and more confident about your exams.

With BUSS1 now out of the way, it is time to forget about how you performed and take positive steps to maximise your potential in BUSS2. This exam paper is worth 60% of your AS grade and includes a wider range of content and more longer answer questions. That said, a good result in this paper and any worries about BUSS1 will be gone.
Once again we are splitting our live revision sessions into two parts. You can interact live or watch them again at your own leisure. The first BUSS2 live revision event started on Wednesday and the 2nd and final half took place on Friday. We will have put together a BUSS2 collection of topics and some exam technique resources that can be used with all your exams.
A short video clip that takes a look at the decision making tool produced by Michael Porter, known as Porters 5 Forces.
This video resource explains the concept and principles of this model and how this can be used in your Business Studies exams or assignments as an excellent assessment tool. This tool allows you to draw conclusions and make decisions about an organisations strategy.

The two successful Live BUSS1 revision sessions have now been completed and thanks for all your positive feedback and comments for improvements and suggestions. These have been split into two seperate parts, however combined they make up the BUSS1 specification. You may wish to make your own notes when watching these.
