How many times have you looked at your local football team and considered the business behind the football club? I'm guessing if your like most football fans then the results on the pitch are much more important than the marketing of the club.
However most football clubs are actually business organisations. The actual product they offer the customer is a service, one which entertains for 90 minutes. It is like watching a music concert, film or theatre production, the customer (fans) are paying to be entertained by the performance put on by your team.
With this in mind I wanted to try and create a series of short tutorials that could be related to my own football team AFC @BeeBusinessBee. Each topic will link business studies knowledge to the football club, so you can see how business knowledge is actually applied in reality.
These resources could be useful for anyone considering studying business or wanting to see how business subject knowledge is applied to a practical example.
